  8. 1. Start CorelDraw« Application.
  9.  
  10. 2. Select File > Open. Locate and Open the appropriate template.
  11.  
  12. NOTE: CorelDraw« Templates will have an .CDR extension.

  16. VCR Sleeve Slippage
  17.  
  18. If you are printing video sleeves using the USVCRVS template, you may notice that the printout isn't exactly lining up with the VCR Sleeve 
  19. paper stock. To correct this, a slippage gauge is printed on every sleeve.
  20. To adjust the printout, please do the following:
  21.  
  22. 1.  Print out a blank template on one of the VCR Sleeves
  23.     This will not waste your VCR Sleeve, the printout will be on a non
  24.      usable area
  25.  
  26. 2.  Open the Object Manager 
  27.     Layout > Object Manager
  28.  
  29. 3.  You'll find a series of icons, click on the pencil icon for all the     layers 
  30.     These icons control the layer's basic properties. The pencil icon            controls whether you can edit the layer's contents
  31.  
  32. 4.  Select Edit > Select All > Objects
  33.     This will select the entire template
  34.  
  35. 5.  Select Arrange > Transform > Position
  36.     This will enable you to adjust the position of the template
  37.  
  38. 6.  Make sure there is check mark in "Relative to Position"
  39.     This will move the template in respect to it's current position
  40.  
  41. 7.  Look at the printed VCR Sleeve (step 1). 
  42.     The printout will line up to a number on the milimeter scale
  43.  
  44. 8.  Enter the number into the H (horizontal) section in the Position window
  45.  
  46. 9.  Click on Apply
  47.     This will apply the changes to the template
  48.  
  49. 10. Click on the pencil icon for all the layers, except the "Work Area"
  50.     This will deselect all the background layers, preventing you from            inadvertantly modifying the template
  51.  
  52. 11. Resume your printing
  53.     Your template should now be correctly calibrated for any slippage            that may have occurred with your printer
  54.
